ATTENTION all Constables

All elected Constables are required to file a “Statement of Disclosure of Interest” with the Tennessee Ethics Commission by January 31, 2010, pursuant to T.C.A. 8-50-504.

If you filed your statement electronically last year, go to www.tennesseeanytime.org/conflict/ and log in with your user name and password. If you do not remember your user name and password, call 615-313-0300 for assistance. Electronic filing will be available through the web site beginning January 4 2010. To file electronically for the first time call 615-253-2665 for your authorization code, you may file a paper form, which can be obtained by calling their office of by down loading a www.tngov/sos/tec/forms/ss-8005.pdf.

Please be advised that Constables who fail to file by the January 31st deadline may be assessed civil penalties of up to ten thousand ($10,000) pursuant to Tennessee Code of Annotated 3-6-205(a)(1)(A).
