Constable Busts Man for 4th DUI
James Kinsey, 44, of 1024 S Wright Lane, Gallatin has been charged with his 4th DUI and driving on a revoked license.
According to an affidavit of complaint filed in Sumner County General Sessions Court, Sumner County Constable Tim Cummings noticed a vehicle driven by Kinsey moving recklessly on State Route 386. Cummings conducted a traffic stop and noticed odor of alcohol coming from Kinsey, person. Kinsey allegedly told the constable he had at least three beers. Kinsley then allegedly performed poorly on the field sobriety test that he was given. When Kinsey’s driving status was checked, it was revealed that his drivers license has been revoked since 2007.
Kinsey was taken into custody and transported to Sumner County Jail, where he was placed under a $10,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court.
